Leadership and Primacy
First company in the world to develop the third and fourth generations of light curing devices using LEDs as a light source.
Creator of photoactivation technology for tooth whitening that employs two types of solid-state light emitters (infrared diode laser and LEDs).
He developed the first Brazilian dual surgical diode laser equipment, the MediLaser, capable of emitting two different wavelengths simultaneously through a single optical fiber, optimizing minimally invasive surgeries.
It developed the first and only national post-surgical non-adherent, Adhesion STP+, a biomaterial of outstanding success as a viable and easy-to-handle solution for the prevention and/or treatment of classic problems, such as post-surgical adhesions and bleeding that affect different areas of the medicine.

Located in São Carlos/SP, Instituto Nupen is a Foundation created to allow and contemplate the expansion of the initial scope of action of Nupen - Center for Research and Teaching of Phototherapy in Health Sciences, scientific department of DMC Equipamentos, founded in 2005.
A pioneering and successful initiative in Brazil, Nupen provides scientific, educational and technical support to DMC Equipamentos, with a wide and differentiated spectrum of action, unprecedented in the national scope.

1998
DMC Equipamentos is born in the city of São Carlos, in the interior of São Paulo.
2000
Publication of the Operating Authorization for the Manufacture of Health Products by ANVISA.
2001
Publication of RDC59 (Good Manufacturing Practices) at ANVISA, being the first company in Brazil in this segment to obtain it.
Publication of RDC185 (Product Registration) also in ANVISA.
First DMC products Equipment registered with ANVISA: Laxys Jet, KM, Laxys Pro and Laxys Easy.
2002
Foundation of the company DMC USA Corporation in Miami, Florida.
2003
Launching of the Whitening Lase, the first equipment in Brazil for tooth whitening, establishing DMC Equipamentos as a world pioneer in the creation of whitening light activated by hybrid light sources, lasers and LEDs.
Foundation of the Chemical Division of DMC Equipamentos.
2004
Launch of Lase Peroxide Sensy, the first gel in Brazil specifically for photoactivated tooth whitening.
2005
DMC Equipamentos becomes the first Brazilian company to create a teaching center focused on Phototherapy in Health Sciences, Nupen. First company to create treatment protocols applying LASER in all dental specialties.
First laser equipment manufacturer in Brazil to obtain the Good Manufacturing Practices certificate.
Launch of Whitening Lase II.
DMC Equipamentos is the first company to include phototherapy in non-invasive aesthetics, proving the concept of collagen photobiomodulation. Launches Quasar Esthétique and Akne B-Simple.
With the registration with ANVISA of Thera Lase, DMC Equipamentos makes available the largest national line of equipment for low intensity laser therapy.
2006
DMC Equipamentos is featured at the 1st Brazilian Design Biennial, with the Whitening Lase Light in the "Design for Health" category.
2009
Publication of the operating authorization for the manufacture of cosmetics.
With the publication of the Anvisa registration of the FO Catheter Introducer Kit, DMC Equipamentos becomes the Brazilian pioneer in the manufacture of fiber optic introductory kits and accessories for minimally invasive surgeries in the Medical Area.
Launching Lase Peroxide Lite: First Brazilian company to manufacture Whitening Gel at 6% Hydrogen Peroxide, following the new European regulations for greater patient safety.
2010
With the registration of Therapy XT, DMC launches the first wireless Therapeutic LASER in Brazil.
Registration of Thera Lase Surgery, the first 100% national Surgical Diode LASER for Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
DMC Equipamentos obtains the first registration for the biomaterials line, Biocel, a Bacterial Cellulose Membrane.
2011
Anvisa registration of Bleed STP. DMC Equipamentos is the world pioneer in the creation and manufacture of surgical hemostatic agent with double active ingredient and bacterial cellulose membrane.
2014
Registration with Anvisa of the MediLaser Family. Innovating with the development and manufacture of 100% national dual surgical diode lasers for minimally invasive procedures.
Registration with Anvisa of Adhesion STP+, the first 100% national surgical non-adherent biomaterial.
2015
Launch of the first application, DMC Odontologia. It's our pioneering spirit once again providing ease of use, first hand knowledge to professionals.
Registration of equipment for the application of Amber and Violet light in non-invasive aesthetics, innovating the spectrum of lights with proven effectiveness.
2016
Registration with Anvisa of the biomaterial Vitagraft, ceramic-polymer composite for bone grafting.
Records with Anvisa of Therapy EC and ILIB. First company to create specific equipment for systemic photobiomodulation treatment – ILIB.
2017
Registration with Anvisa of Bioossilex, another Brazilian biomaterial for bone grafting using biosilicate.
Introduction of the One STEP technique in Brazil, DMC Equipamentos was the developer of the technical solution applied to the extraction of repair cells for use in plastic surgery and regenerative medicine.
2020
Seeking to support the most diverse areas of laser application, DMC Equipamentos innovates even more, creating the DMC Protocols application, a compilation of protocol suggestions for lasers and LEDs for 10 specialties in one application.
2021
Nupen becomes a Foundation to support Research and Teaching: The Nupen Institute.
2022
DMC Equipamentos starts its international expansion with the participation in Arab Health in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
